Our day started with a drive!
And we tried the iconic icelandic fish jerky, that they actually prefer to eat with butter......
Of course we have no butter, so we eat it plain. Chewy. A little fishy, but edible of you happen to be from
Alaska.
The normal tourist eventually chooses to take the "Golden Circle" tour. Since we have our own car, we get to explore it on our own.
First stop: Geysir!
Second stop: Gulfoss waterfall.
Then we found our way to Pingvellir National Park, saw a fox possibly stealing a snack from some unaware tourists, and another waterfall.
Back to Keflavik for some yummy seafood soup,
And a Minke whale steak sandwich!
Then our Airbnb hosts informed us there was a: Night of the Light Festival happening, so we wandered down to see some really amazing live music!
Gin and grape(grapefruit juice) in a can!
