Brussels

Off to Brussels for 6 days!

And figuring out the inter city trains.

The royal palace, but the family lives a little North of the city. This is all just for show 😉

It is beautiful.

And we are goofy.

We rented an entire (small) affordable apartment on airbnb and it's so close to the city, yet quiet and on a private street- it is amazing!

Ken downloaded a language program from Google that can actually translate paragraphs- or menus!!

It's been really handy so far!!

We found a brasserie that was really good! Of course there are a lot of really good places here, you just have to FIND them! The Italian waiter Juliano was engaging and curious and a little boisterous, but we really liked him because he made us(and gave me a lesson!!) fresh mayonnaise to dip our fries in on the spot!!! Sorry, Ken could not get a photo as I was blocking the view during my "lesson."

P.s. cheese croquettes are delicious.
