Hello Eindhoven!! 

We like you already, maybe it is the delicious burger we referred to in the last post, or the fact that your university is ahead technologically wise, or the gargoyles looking over your beautiful churches....

Or the history of Eindhoven itself. Or maybe.........

Its because we get to see our long lost friend Evelien that we first met back in 2013 on our trip to Australia??!!!

That must be it!!! Hello Evelien!! Evelien lives in a town nearby and was able to meet us for a few hours and show us around Eindhoven!!

And by the way, it is expected of you to eat an entire pizza to yourself in the Netherlands, and you must remember to ask them to cut it for you- or else you have to cut it yourself, which is a tedious task if you have never eaten pizza with a fork and knife before.

We learned to ask, but more often than not, our pizzas came uncut. Do they know we are not local??! It must be the fact that we cannot speak Dutch ;D

Was really great seeing Eindhoven through the eyes of not only a local but also a friend!
